Privacy Policy
We respect your privacy and try to collect as little information as possible.
Information we collect
- No accounts and no forms. You can read every page without giving us any personal information.
- Basic server and analytics data. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes standard technical information, such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, to deliver the site, keep it secure and produce aggregate, privacy-friendly visitor statistics.
- Emails you send us. If you email us, we use your message and email address only to reply.
Third-party content
- YouTube videos are shown as a preview image. Nothing loads from YouTube until you press play. When you do, the video loads from youtube-nocookie.com and YouTube’s privacy policy applies.
- Social media posts (Instagram, Reddit) are shown as a text preview. The platform’s script loads only if you press the button to show the post, and that platform’s privacy policy then applies.
- Humidity tip. Some guides offer a local humidity tip. Only when you press the button, we use the approximate location our hosting provider derives from your connection (city level) to look up current humidity from the free Open-Meteo weather service. If that is unavailable, your browser may ask to share your location, which is rounded to about 10 km. Nothing is stored.
- Routine builder. Your answers are processed in your browser and never sent to us.
- Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts.
- Retailer links. If you click a link to a retailer such as Amazon, that retailer’s own privacy policy applies on its site.
Cookies
We do not set advertising or tracking cookies ourselves. If that changes, for example if we add advertising, we will update this policy and ask for consent where required.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal data. Because we hold very little, this usually means emails you have sent us. Contact support@snailmucinspray.com.
Changes
We will update this page if our practices change, and the date at the top will reflect the latest version.
